Consumers are receiving
mixed messages regarding seafood. It’s healthy, but it’s
contaminated. We should eat more, yet it is being overfished. Alaska’s
message is clear: seafood from Alaska is safe and natural, flavorful
and healthy, and is produced with respect for the environment.
ASMI organizes Alaska seafood promotions in collaboration with
seafood processors that identify their products with an “Alaska”
origin identifier, and also with retailers who sell origin-identified
Alaska seafood products.
